I am an unfriendly Black QT from the East End of Pittsburgh. My interests include public health, dollar store drag, and cheering Gen Z in the fight for liberation. I’ve been playing the same games for over 20 years: Sims, Pokémon, and Animal Crossing. The worst game I’ve ever played is Real Life— the graphics are great but the leveling is slow and class options are a nightmare.
My favorite part of last year’s program was becoming a more confident street cyclist and finding ways to access green spaces without having to drive a car (and find parking).
I learned that I can beat the 91 bus from downtown to Lawrenceville, and biked from 6th street to 53rd street in 15 minutes.
I’m in a neighborhood that is new to me (Northside), so I want to learn about the surrounding neighborhoods and how I can safely and quickly get to the parks and murals.
I have all the benefits of access to a bike without fear that it will be stolen. I like having the option to walk, bus, or bike without having to keep track of where MY bike is.
