Ambassador Ride: Coley’s WTF (What the Fudge) Ride

This year, our Ambassadors are using Ride Spot to create unique routes that can be used by daily commuters, first-time riders, and anyone in between. Learn more and start riding with us virtually!

We started at the Healthy Ride station at Brighton and CCAC Allegheny. From there we rode to the North Shore, passing the Carnegie Science Center, continuing along the river’s edge until we crossed the ramp taking us to the Point. We took the corridor southeast of the point to the Eliza Furnace Trail. The trail brought us to the Hot Metal Bridge.

We stopped to take a few photos on the bridge, before continuing to the Southside Neighborway. This neighborway is special in that it allows cyclists (skaters and pedestrians) safe travel that is parallel to East Carson without the congestion of car traffic AND easier access to amenities than using the southside riverfront trail.

We stopped at Fudge Farm to have some delicious Ice Cream while sitting on the swings.

We ended the ride by continuing down the neighborway to the Highline and Color Park.
