Meet the Ambassadors: C.C.

About C.C.

Hey everyone, my name is CC and I am excited to be a part of the Community Ambassador program for another year.  Outside of bike riding, I work professionally at the August Wilson African American Cultural Center as a Senior Ticketing Operations and Patron Services Manager, am a Zumba instructor, and doctoral student studying education and organizational leadership.  I enjoy what I do and especially love meeting new people!  I am a lover of life, enjoy having fun, and am always ready for a challenge.

What was your favorite part of last year’s Ambassador program?

My favorite part of last year’s program was the meet-up with all the Ambassadors and Healthy Ride Staff for our monthly meeting.  Being able to meet everyone face-to-face and ride was a lot of fun for me!

What was something unexpected/interesting/fun that you learned from last year’s program?

I learned so much last year, however, when I attended the Bike Share virtual convention, there was so much information.  I never realized how many bike share programs there are around the United States.  It makes me want to visit every state and ride!

What are you most excited about for this year’s Ambassador program?

I am most excited for some in-person interaction.  I enjoy people so being able to converse and share stories with others is a good time for me.  I am also excited to meet the new ambassadors and create some virtual rides!

Complete the following sentence. I love Healthy Ride’s bike share program, because…

I love Healthy Ride’s bike share program because the program has been good to me!  I am able to travel to where I need to be at all times and have fun while doing it.
