As a nonprofit, Healthy Ride is driven by a social mission to expand access to public transit through easy-to-use, affordable active transportation opportunities. Healthy Ride launched in 2015 with 50 stations and 500 bikes, and has grown to 100 stations and 550 bikes with the goal of continuing to connect new neighborhoods to the network year after year.
As a small organization with a big mission, Healthy Ride has a strong internal culture that emphasizes teamwork, inclusion, innovation, creativity, hard work, and fun. Healthy Ride employees provide safe, reliable, and memorable customer experiences, and create mutually-rewarding relationships with our riders, partners, and communities.
Healthy Ride seeks motivated individuals and 501c3 organizations to be our next class of Community Ambassadors! The Community Ambassador program is grounded in equity and focuses on connecting Pittsburgh’s low-income residents, high school and university students, and communities of color to the bike share program, safe bicycling infrastructure, and city cycling education.
Healthy Ride is looking for a motivated individual to confidently lead the Community Ambassador team through another successful season as Healthy Ride’s Lead Community Ambassador!
Healthy Ride is seeking support staff for the MoveForwardPGH campaign who will be responsible for deploying informational posters and door hangers throughout Pittsburgh neighborhoods. This effort will help to educate and engage Pittsburgh residents about upcoming bike infrastructure improvements to their street, neighborhood, and throughout the City of Pittsburgh.
